Amberale Looks great Jake, welcome back. Where is the flush lever? I just use the actuating lever behind the group but it is a bit hot. Is that āDaveās Lightā under the drip tray?
Loonster Amberale Looks great Jake, welcome back. Where is the flush lever? I just use the actuating lever behind the group but it is a bit hot. Is that āDaveās Lightā under the drip tray? I am not confident, but this picture appears to show an amber coloured rod sticking out to the right of the group. Cuprajake
Ando Cuprajake I take it the flush lever thing you have mentioned is now standard on all the new versions? That hasnāt been mentioned to me. Iām getting excited looking at your pics - spec I have gone for is very similar.
Amberale Loonster Thanks Loonster, I hadnāt seen that pic. All the ones I saw were angled from the left. That would seem to be a simple add on from the stock ACS. In the pic attached, just push out the slotted/spring pin and use an appropriate size bolt through and into a piece of brass/ally/SS drilled and threaded to suit. I might even make one from timber to suit my new handles when I get around to it.
HarveyMushman New Lever looks great! Love those under machine lights! Gotta say of all the manufacturers ACS seem to be doing some of the most exciting things with their machines, cool to see them constantly evolving and developing.
LMSC It isnāt going to make any difference to the cup quality. Please see here, if you havenāt! :-) https://coffeetime.freeflarum.com/d/2375-old-evo-v-new-evo
Ando Whatās best method current users of the Evo find for transferring grinds into the portafilter? Iām assuming the grind cup will be too big for the 54mm portafilter?
Amberale Ando Iām a Vostok boy but it is the same and I grind into a catch cup and pour in using a Sworks funnel.
