For sale is my ECM Synchronika dual boiler espresso machine. This was purchased from Bella Barista on 15th January 2021. It’s 21 months old and has been used very lightly – a couple of times each weekend and mostly with bottled water, I’m based in south Wales and in a ‘Soft’ water area so on the few occasions I’ve topped up with tap water it won’t have made a significant impact on the stainless-steel boiler. The machine itself is in pristine condition with no scratches or marks whatsoever on the casing. The drip tray and warming tray have both had their fair share of cups put on them and taken off so there are some small scuffs consistent with very moderate use – I’ll try and show this in the photographs.
If you’re reading this then you probably know that ECM are a German company known for making very high-quality machines with fantastic chroming and top rate fit and finish.

Conclusion
This really is a fantastic machine that has made some of the best espressos and milk-based coffees I’ve ever had. It’s ECMs top of the line model and is a significant investment, but then the best quality doesn’t come cheap. The joystick style steam and hot water valves are great to use and the machine is very quiet in operation – I shall be very sorry to see it go.
The reason for sale is that I’m moving to a flat with a small kitchen and no space :~(
The current price for an ECM Synchronika is around £2,399, I am looking for £1,800 or a very close offer. The ECM is very heavy and my experience of shipping heavy items has not been good and so I am listing this as collection only from Newport area – South Wales.
