Took a few days for delivery after ordering but received ok. found some of the roast dates to be 19/1 - 20/1 so well into resting period when I got them.
Opened the oldest beans a couple of days ago, the Kenya AA Blue mountain. I tend to have Latte style drinks made with an Aeropress ATM (16g dose, topped with water and then add about 40% warmed skimmed milk); so cant say i’d taste the subtle notes that the roasters claim, However I do like the taste and would defiantly consider ordering these ones again.
I don’t flit from bean to bean, so I’ll use these ones until gone then open another. Only me drinking them and only 2 cups a day so a bag lasts about a week.
I also have the Colombian red bourbon so I’d be interested in your thoughts when you open it.
