Hey folks - has anyone fixed / repaired a dripping hot water tap on a Lelit Elizabeth? Just wondering how much of a job this is, if anyone has any advice / experience I would be grateful!
Thank you

hot water tap or steam tap? If hot water as you said in your post, I’m not sure, as it’s controlled by a solenoid. It might be as simple as cleaning the solenoid valve. When you draw hot water from it, does it make a buzzing noise?
MediumRoastSteam Yes, hot water tap (not steam wand). No buzzing when I use it now (though there has been in the recent past)… The dripping is not serious, but constant.
I saw some instructions on Clive Coffee for cleaning solenoid:

Forgive the newcomer ignorance, I’m guessing the machine should be cool and off (!) - does it also need to be emptied of water also for jobs like these?
jcb1973 cool and off but no need to empty of water. It’s a quick and easy job.

The reason it doesn’t need to be empty of water is that the water comes from the top of he brew boiler, so the water weight is below the tube, and therefore there’s no pressure or gravity to push the water out.
Thanks @MediumRoastSteam and @DavecUK I will give it a try!

Were you able to fix the water drip issue by cleaning the Solenoid seat per clivecoffee instructions? My Lelit Elizabeth is having the same dripping issue like yours.
would this be the same as a Mara X V2because mine has started a bit of a drip, nota lot but enough to be a pain the machine is 6 months old so a bit reluctant to take it apart in case it voids the warranty, thanks
I can’t remember if the valve innards can be unscrewed from the housing when the knob is removed. But this is how you remove the knob.
thanks, I was actually watching this before I made my post here
goaldesk sorry for the slow reply. I wasn’t actually able to remove the seat, was too fiddly for me… but the dripping stopped on mine after I reassembled…
