I’ve just done a week with the spouted PF and I definitely prefer the coffee from it. It’s inexplicable!
I wondered if there’s a difference in crema with a spouted that affects how milk mixes with the espresso?
I’ve almost exclusively been drinking flat whites and whilst I always swirl the cup a bit before pouring, the results from the spouted tastes more ‘combined’ if that makes any sense.
There’s almost a more pronounced flavour when using the bottomless- more pronounced coffee flavour but then also more pronounced milk…
I’ve tried a few back to back comparisons and there’s 100% a difference, it’s just really odd given that there shouldn’t really be. On the Bianca I’d put this down to coffee oils in the spout but the LM is brand new and the spout was completely clean.
