Hi all - I am new here but have been posting on cfuk before all hell broke loose.

I’m looking to sell my Strietman, a beautiful machine which deserves to be used more, but I’ve been slowly moving to pourover and these days it’s not getting the love it deserves.

Purchased in August 2021. Warranty is two years and in theory should not be transferable. Wouter has been nothing short of extraordinary in supporting me when needed (through no fault of the machine but only my own..) so wouldn’t expect this to be an issue, and the machine is so, so simple that breakdowns are unlikely.

Machine works perfectly, only used with soft water. The exterior is in great condition, only one scuff on the PF (pictured - sorry the pf was not polished at the time) as I dropped it once. Comes with wooden funnel, normcore tamper, stock tamper, baskets, some spare seals and lube. Can provide further pictures if necessary, and answer any questions.

Delivery possible, otherwise collection from Glasgow.

I’d be looking for £1700 ono.

Hi there, lovely machine.

I noticed you’re Glasgow based. By any chance do you ever happen to pay a visit South of the border (Manchester or London)?

rabh I do go to London for work once a month, it’d be a bit tricky to carry the box but I could do it if we meet at eg Euston station. As a ballpark date, I should be down in London the 7th next month, unfortunately I have no flexibility in deciding when I go and I’ve not been able to firm up dates just yet.

Thanks RobA, I actually go through Euston fairly often, so that’s pretty easy for me.

At the moment I’m just mulling it over (as you can imagine, it’s quite a spend this close to Christmas), but will let you know. Though it’s a great machine, so I’m sure it won’t be available for very long!

rabh no worries, I agree it’s a great machine, but it’s also a large expense so it may not fly this quickly. Anyway do let me know, if you make your mind up or if you have any questions :)
