Quick Mill Vetrano 2b EVO - Water level probe problem

Hello,

I am writing here because I have a problem with my Quick Mill Vetrano 2b EVO (Verona in UK)

I have exactly the same problem as in this video (Lelit Bianca):

When I turn on the machine the steam boiler immediately goes into overpressure and the water flows endlessly through the bleed valve.

I have tried all 3 solutions in the video, but unfortunately without any result. Would you happen to know a solution to this problem (is changing the level sensor a solution, or is it the Gicar module?).

tik-tik - Hi Thierry - It would be silly of us here to try to come up with an advice based on you showing a video of something else totally unrelated to the machine you have. Appreciate you are saying that’s the problem, but it might not be.

Best thing for you to do is for you to upload a video (via YouTube, or any other platform you prefer) and post it here, showing the exact problem. Don’t skimp on the time of the video either: The more information, the more details the better. An HD video, unedited with sound is always the best way.

Is the pump running when this happens. If it is, does it stop if you manually earth the probe wire?

Yes, the pump running, and it don’t stop before i stop it manually.

tik-tik By stopping it manually do you mean touching the level probe wire to the boiler, it switching it off.

By switching off the power to the machine with the on/off switch.

Unplug machine, fix the level probe wire on the boiler, switch on. See if that stops the pump. Put a photo up so we can identify it for you.

For your information, after a return to the store, the problem was with the GICAR module that had been wet by the drain valve.
