Looks really nice.
My time in Naples
Ernie1 I have scoured the other UK coffee forums, and it seems we are the only one that has regular representation at these events. I wonder why that is?
LMSC Some perhaps, others not within the scope of the average user perhaps. Which means you will possibly be able to do it.
Does the Vostok have the same/similar heated group that the Evo uses?
It looks superb, a possible end game machine.
Amberale Same group, although now it seems to have been fitted with a pressure-release valve.
The Vostok is great - but it is meant to be plumbed in, not a standalone machine with a tank.
CoyoteOldMan Vostok is an Evo inside and can be plumbed or tanked…because the variable preinfusion ideally needs the machines pump to always take from the tank, much like a standard Vesuvius.
Preinfusion pressure is now on the front panel and managed electronically. I can do a video walkthrough of the 1 group Vostok today is people are interested.
All the same features are planned for the Evo
With the vent function have they made a lock for the lever handle?
Vid would be good, tbh that’s next level if those mods are coming to the Evo leva🤯
Decent De1pro v1.45 - Niche Duo - Niche Zero - Decent is the best machine ever made -

Cuprajake With the vent function have they made a lock for the lever handle?
No, when it vents, it doesn’t move fast or with much force. There are other issues (which exist as a result of this type of venting) which I’d like to see improved, Paolo and I have some thoughts.

Yes please!
Very interesting indeed!
Very nice! Thx Dave.
DavecUK Very interesting, thank you - so the feed-in solenoid re-opens when the shot is ‘ended’? And ‘non-brewed’ water is shunted to the drip tray, I assume?
CoyoteOldMan Pretty much correct yes. There’s multiple electronic pressure sensors to manage preinfusion pressure and the rest of the magic.
That is not a problem, in fact it is preferred.
