A huge thank you to whoever mentioned angle of portafilter in a recent thread. Yes I always removed my portafilter horizontally and got stuck pucks 10-20% of time. Varied a bit with bean and recipe.

Now I turn the handle to 7pm and angle it down gently so the basket comes away from the showewcreen at an angle. Hey presto, no more stuck pucks to clean up.

      Stuck pucks usually occurs when you underdose. At least thats my experience.

      18g VST basket, if i dose 18g or 19g they dont stuck, if i dose 17gr they usually stuck.

      But yeah since @MediumRoastSteam mentioned about removing portafilter at an angle (way earlier on another post) i dont have the problem anymore.
