to add i was looking at the vectis yesterday, theres very few vids online, then a londinium one popped up, seems there have been quite a few revisions on the machine.

id have another londinium i quite liked that.

Why? Ask Rancid, he bought one thinking it could be converted over and found surprisingly they would not sell him any parts. The only thing interesting about Londinium is how they are still in business!

That’s certainly an interesting point.
Its not dual boiler either
And it loses digital pre infusion control.
I only said it was interesting 😁

compressa was sold as a striped back version for water feed only, then they wouldn’t sell the pump aspect

wonder now though if you can buy it. i got a pump through a friend as im londinium black listed.

I used the pump on my evo 1 which made it silent. im surprised that pump wasnt used in the vistok or evo 2 given how small it is and is made by the same gear pump manufacturer of the evo one.

That’s the price I would expect them to quote for everyone. They are a business selling prosumers machines. VAT on top for the ROW, unless treated differently for EU. You may ask. 😊

I know the v1 and v2 are gonna be identical cup wise and my v1 has been rock solid but this is mostly for two things:

Dosed system

Flush lever

I also like the look of the Vostok but I emailed Maria and it’s 2cm too tall for my space. So I have started looking at Leva 2 but this time I would trick it out with custom paint.

Does anyone know if it would be possible for the Leva 2 with dosing system to get an update to get it to work with a bluetooth scale like acaia or bookoo so that dosing system can also work by weight? That is the one thing that’s keeping me from upgrading to Leva 2 immediately.

Errrrr, why?

I think you may be missing the point here that one of the great advantages of the lever with auto shot end is that you only need to use scales 2 or 3 times a year when you get bored to re-prove you don’t need scales for this system to be fully repeatable. Also use scales to dial in if you want to change ratios etc

Even with the evo one just keep an eye on the pressure gauge.

You can add purge lever to the evo one as well.

I believe you will be able to install flush lever. IIRC, some one installed the flush lever.

I have not used scale except a few times to get a sense of 1:2 / 1.2:5 during the initial few days of acquisition. It is very consistent.

I assume that Vostok and other machines by ACS, if bought from them, the warranty is only part only? They will send you parts (free of charge/shipping I suppose) and guide you how to replace them, but that’s it?

If unsure we can guide you for repairs, but, likely not something to worry about.
