Arrgh!
I’m sure Maria and co shipped it last Friday.
DHL have now advised me :
Shipment is on hold - LEIPZIG,GERMANY
Further Details - The shipment is currently awaiting the next available cycle.
Seeing as only a dozen or so cycles finished the Giro last week they must be a bit short.
Estimated delivery is 5th of June, they have apparently attached it to a Chinese spy balloon and set it adrift to navigate the vagaries of the Trade winds in the Indian Ocean.
On top of that, I will not be home until the 8th of June and the Studmistress will be here but without a phone as Telstra can’t fix a landline in under three months.
Ah well, it will come when it comes.
Now, what beans to roast for its arrival?
Brazil naturals -easy to roast forgiving to brew.
Shakisso Estate- my favourite.
Ethiopian Yirgcheffe-I haven’t quite cracked a great profile for this yet.
Yemen Ismaeli Mocha- I don’t have much of this left but it takes a couple of weeks at least to age after roasting.
