I won’t take the comments below as negative.
Some of the users including self purchased some coffee, on one occasion, from them more than a year ago. They did not have a roast date except batch numbers and use by date. I spoke with them, gave them the serial number and they gave the roast date that was a month old. This was odd; but they were very frank, sounded genuine, said sorry and offered a full refund or a replacement. They promised to print the roast date as soon as possible. I refused the refund (as it was morally the correct thing to do for me) and consumed the coffee, which was good. The roast was as described and got what was described on the tin.
They may be putting the roast date on the bag now. Although I never bought from them since then, I would buy again for two reasons: I think they are a good roaster and the discount is compelling. I have too much coffee resting at the moment. I am going to have to pass up this time.
