I’m obviously insufficiently educated on burr design, geometry, alignment, etc. and how this affects espresso taste parameters.
Or on the differences between various makes and models of burrs.
I know that I prefer the taste profile of the Niche burr set (64mm Mazzer conical) for the medium-dark to dark decaf beans I enjoy, compared to Eureka Mignon and it’s 55mm flat burrs (I do not know who makes their burrs).
Is there a thread on the above on this site? Are any other suggested on-line information sources? Any links will be gratefully appreciated.
