Not rumours as such, as I believe Martin (Niche Ltd) will not even mention anything to anyone until he is happy with whatever he has designed, no matter how long that would take. This was the case with the Niche Zero (the only minor delay it had once the delivery date was announced was because the production run of the grinding cups were not up to Martin’s standards), so I can’t see why it would be any different with any new versions. In all honesty, I prefer this technique to other marketing techniques such as, for example, the one used for the Londinium Vectis: They advertise a new product, they set expectations of a release date, and as years pass by, excuses upon excuses are given on why it has been delayed. In summary: Best not to create expectations. 😀
However, the community of Niche Zero users - myself included - has been longing for a Flat Niche for a while. And we all know that, if Niche manages to make a flat burr grinder that has a similar workflow to the current one, priced right, will be very popular within the community. 🤞
