I bought this about 3-4 years ago, I completely stripped down the boiler replaced the seals, bolts, full descale and rebuilt it. It has had most of the mods you can get and can produce some amazing coffees and late art with practice:
Mr Shades PID (set for brew and steam)
LED Lighting kit (but the light strip only has 1 light on it now - that bit could do with being replaced)
Steel dispersion plate (fitted- original is spare)
IMS Shower screen,
Shades of coffee puck screen (has been really useful this)
Cafelat silicon group seal,
Rancillo wand
Blind portafilter, plus 2 others, one of which I have fitted the pressure gauge so you can adjust the OPV easily. I have it currently running at 8 bar which has seemed to be the most consistent for me.
Double and triple baskets, blind filter basket.
Tamper and homemade WDT (probably the best thing you could ever make).
I have just flushed through the gaggia descaler so there is half a bottle left. My water is quite soft so was just ran through a brita filter, our kettle gets a right hammering and has never scaled. The classic probably has made 1 espresso a day.
Looking for £275 given all the extras and work it has had done to it. A great little machine. Collection from Stockport.
