Recently, I noticed that the brew lever of my ECM Puristika has began drooping during extraction. To be more precise, it goes slowly from the utmost top position to horizontal and stops, so it does not disengage the pump switch, but still, I find it troubling. I last lubricated the machine copiously with Molykote 111 two months ago. I took apart the brew lever flange and lubed the inside, including the two rubber axis washers. Also, all the springs, valves, cam, everything. That was the last time I backflushed with Cafiza. I backflush with clean water after every three shots.
I am curious if any of you have encountered anything like this and whether this can be considered normal.
