I bought Lelit Elizabeth for a year from coffeefriends in the UK and today the steam knob got stuck. I couldn’t switch off, it was pretty scary. (I removed the water tube and turned off the machine. The steam calmed down eventually when there was no more hot water in the boiler.)
The retailer has a phone number but unreachable. Lelit UK said they are not going to fix machine sold in other shops.
The knob looks alright inside. I think I might have over tightened the valve.
Can anyone tell me what I should do now? I think I should open the machine but not sure exactly what I should do.
