ha, mine is moving to the right as well, once I shift the old Kompak out of the way. I am also contemplating switching to a Niche Zero (or Duo), depending on how I like this, I just picked it up at the early bird price as a relatively cheap experiment really. It certainly is quiet compared to my old grinder. And no weight inconsistency trouble on my Timemore scale (which actually is a bit faulty, the hardware power button is intermittently failing to work. They refunded me). FWIW I seem to need to grind finer on the dial than you for my Wogan espresso blend beans. But I’ve literally only done one dose so far.
I think the power cord being a standard kettle is pretty useful, makes it very straightforward to swap for whatever length/configuration suits your space instead of being tied to a moulded-in one.
I’m not so impressed by the sticker saying to do the loading of beans while the motor’s already running, I assume they’re worried about stalling it at low RPM with some beans? I’m not going to tolerate that kind of faff, so hopefully it won’t be one of my use cases to need to do that.
