My dual burr order arrived today. Here are my first impressions.
I use a Decent espresso machine and used the adaptive profile in all cases. I pulled 3 espressos and compared one to my Niche Zero.
It appears to be less easy to dial in than the zero. I tried settings 5,6 & 7 and they pulled between 20’ and 37’. No setting produced 25’ to 32’ shots. Due to the newness of the burr?
An immediate noticeable difference in texture and flavour dynamic. Smooth, rich and more dimensions of chocolate tastable as compared to the zero, which was more muted and thinner.
A noticeable difference is obviously a good start/thing having dropped the notes.👍 I’ll try the filter burrs tomorrow.
