Sham Did you turn the base? If you did, I wouldn’t have gone with 51mm, more like 51.5mm or 51.4mm for a better fit (and wouldn’t cost you more to machine). Looks very nice though.

CoffeePhilE I’m almost tempted by one of these, just as a display piece. I don’t even have anything a 51mm tamper would fit. And if I hadn’t bought an oak-handled Pullman Bigstep a while back, because I liked the wood.. Nice work though, Steven. Very nice.
StevenG91 CoffeePhilE I have various colours and can do various sizes, including larger 58.5 precision tampers. If the blue is something you fancy I can certainly do another in any size.
