Also, a man of your talents could buy a piece of plate steel, 650×460×4mm.
Paint it black to match the bench top.
Put thin foam under it to protect the bench and a couple of braces from above the splash-back down to the rear of the plate to keep it in place.
It could be done.

That’s true but with land comes responsibility.
I’m supposed to be retired but the farm means I’m currently fixing a 40 year old Italian tractor so I can spend a few days out in sub10degreeC days ploughing about 15 acres for weed control and pasture management.

I love working in the shed but I would prefer to be working on the Wes Cooley GS1000st that I’m putting back together. :)

First world problems.

I might have to do a “Clarkson” and spend some silly $$ on a new tractor.

One little spring failure in the diesel system and nothing works.
