What perfume do you love on those you love or loved?
The two I loved the best (and could identify) are Balenciaga’s Le Dix and Estee Lauder’s Private Collection.

Le Dix was a stunning scent, I had a couple of bottles I rationed out for as long as I could, sadly it is no longer around :(.
Over the years I have bought my wife many scents but, the one she still wears after nearly 39 years of being manacled together, is Eau de Rochas. I think originally it was Madam Rochas and over the years it has probably changed and morphed into what it is now
Estee Lauder- Youth dew, Your the Fire?? and Clinique.
It really is beautiful stuff.
I often use to get on ebay and do the rounds looking for vintage scents, if stored well they keep better than people seem to think especially if they don’t have citrus in the top notes, but I haven’t for quite some time now.
Coffee things seem to have slowly taken over my perfume obsession lol.
I find Prada in general to have very exquisite and long lasting fragrances. My favourite is Ocean EDP.

The first set of perfume I got for my wife was a box of 5 × 30 ml perfumes at the time of our marriage. I don’t remember the brand anymore. It used to come in a golden colour stainless steel bottle. One of my old pals who lived in Paris purchased it for me directly from a factory. I still remember paying DM 250 at that time. She had it for almost 15 years. They were mild and I still remember the fragrance lasting the whole day.
My family usually buy themselves Chanel Coco, Armani and Versace to name a few. They are all very nice.
LMSC I like buying perfumes for my wife. Every time I travel I would wander through the duty free shop (sometimes pricier than high street shops sales though). Angel of Thierry Mugler is her favourite. Lately Mark Jacobs has got her attention and I had to oblige. 😀 Anything to make her happy given how much she cares about us. I would not even call this a small token of appreciation, it is just the joy to make gifts to people you cherish.
