Thinking of trying Cold Brew...
I use a Clever Dripper for cold brew, hot bloom (2× 30g/30s for small, 2× 60g40s for large), then fill with cold water and leave 12-24hrs.
1:12-13 ratio, V60 grind.
I’d leave the Clever on a draining board, or a brew stand over a server in case of leaks whilst steeping (I had one).
I tend to prefer coffee brewed cold, over hot, but I don’t care for the waiting.
Pompeyexile I used 2 of these a lot a few years ago , one at home, one on office. Had some amazi g cold brews from them. Normally aimed for 18-24 hours. Started fully cold brew and then experimented with hot bloom then filling with cold.
Only pain is it takes a LONG time to fill them as water goes through the basket very slowly when it’s full of wet coffee grounds.
Either saw, or just made up, way to fill jug with water then insert basket of grounds to speed it up.
If you make strong you can leave in fridge a few days and dilute the concentrate to drink as required.
Thanks for the advice guys. I think I will give it a go.
Just seen the James Hoffman Iced Pourover Coffee video using a V60. Think I’ll gve that a go too.
