Gooseneck kettle - nothing expensive unless you have deep pockets. haha

How did the coffee (not that yummy 😋 muffin) taste ? Please don’t say “like coffee.” Haha

Hi, yes I did pour it all in one Go slowly and put the lid on. Left it for approximately 3 minutes.

Gave the top a quick stir after about a minute. I did not stir deep

It was actually quite drinkable but as I’ve said in the past I really do struggle to describe flavours and tastes. This was better than I have had this week out of the industrial brunn filter coffee maker in the hotel breakfast bar.

I drank it as it was without any extra dilution which I guess is the correct way??

It was rave 52 but only 3 days off roast. Will try rave 50 in a bit!! .

I think I need to start like this to get comfortable with it. Then start reading more of the comments on the forum once understand a little bit more what they’re talking about.

With machines like that, it is easy, repeatable and forgiving.

That’s a lot and can easily add unpleasantness. Next time, rather than stirring, you may consider breaking the crust gently at 1:30 mins and open the switch at 3:00. Please see how you like the coffee. Another good approach is not doing anything - gently pour in circles, steep for 3, drain and enjoy.
