A strong, short cup, or a cupful/mugful?
Low perceived acidity with drier, roasted nut flavours, or bright, fruity cups?
I drink espresso made with medium roasts, but roasts that taste good as espresso can taste flat & uninteresting as pour over/drip.
Blends and origins I like for espresso make way for brighter, light single origins for pour over (Kenya, Rwanda, Colombia for instance).
I can’t comment on what goes well with milk.
