Feel for you matey. 12 years ago we got a miniature dachshund. 2 years later she needed 2 operations on her spine. the 6K insurance was soon gobbled up! I reckon we have spent double figures, up until November 22nd when we had to make the hard decision that owners are faced with. The next day I filled in rehoming forms. An hour later we received a phone call saying they had had an enquiry the night before, and subject to all things being equal…..2 weeks later, our new doggy arrived.
