I have been semi regularly buying from the Barn, however postage to the UK is now expected to take 10-15 days. If you want it quicker you can select UPS at £16, which pushes the Barn out of my 'go to' list. Maybe I have just been lucky up until now and this was always the writing on the wall, being the reason that other EU roasters have not typically been economical to buy from. Well the coffee turned up on Friday, so the extra I paid for UPs seems a waste, cheered up by the fact that the Kenyan Mbokam AB, washed SL28, Riuru 11 is proving very tasty, as good a Kenyan (or a coffee) as I have had this year. Notes are blackcurrant (tick), vanilla (tick) and rose (maybe?).

I’m not sure what you mean by the up charge?
I ordered Monday night last week. Arrived today, I would’ve rested the beans for that length of time anyway so I’m relatively happy with that.
Sure it could’ve been faster but I’m not in a rush, if they taste good I’ll certainly order again (or just buy some when I’m in Berlin later this year).

Perhaps that is the usual service, I don’t know as this was my first time ordering from them.
They ran a promotion in April for free delivery to the UK, I took advantage of that so the only costs were those of the beans themselves.
