Adrianmsmith Thought this was worth a share Keep looking for Molykote 111 at the right price as I keep seeing it reccomended Up to now I’ve been using generic silicone grease. I am nothing to do with Zoro tools. Just found on a Google search. Have seen horrendous prices in the past for very small…. 5g etc of the stuff. thought worth mentioning that as if December 2023 these 2 × 100g tubes were £32 delivered…. UK 1.8 lifetimes supply 😎 Only bought 2 for free delivery as wasn’t requiring anything else!!!
Spid3r00 That’s cheapest I’ve ever seen… I hope is really i real thing… Unfortunately they don’t deliver to Sweden.
Adrianmsmith Spid3r00 It’s difficult to keep information relevant to all on an international site and wondered if the post would be deleted. Definately genuine. Price I guess is good as it is an engineering and Tool company rather than a specialist coffee supplier.
MediumRoastSteam To note, it seems that the branding / packaging has changed from what we are all used to, e.g.: E.g.: https://www.zoro.co.uk/shop/power-transmission-and-flow-control/greases/111-silicone-grease-compound-100g/p/ZT1036869X I believe that’s the one you bought @Adrianmsmith ? Note the pictures advertised are branded Dow Corning rather than DuPont. After some research, looks like Dow has merged and then spun out of DuPont (or something like that). I always knew this grease as Dow Corning Molikote 111 rather than DuPont.
