I would say…no. The old Evo is as capable as pulling good results as the new Evo. The only caveat is a slight extra flexibility that “might”, I emphasis “might” produce some different results in certain situations.
The new Evo is simply much more refined….and the natural evolution of the product. 😉
So if you already have one, you probably shouldn’t upgrade unless you want timed or pressure based release, very quiet rotary pump, or a flush lever. etc..
