I have the Eliabeth (v2) and wanted to ask form users about the potential benefits and downsides of changing the factory brew boiler pressure setting? The factory pressure setting on my machine is 11.0 bars. I am thinking about lowering the setting to 9 bars, which many home baristas and experts seem to feel is the ideal brew boiler pressure setting.
My preferences for espresso is full body, chocolaty and relatively sweet espresso (extracted from med or darker beans). My current grinder is a Eureka Mignon Libra (flat burr grinder).
I welcome and appreciate all comments and suggestions. I apologize for the naive question. Obviously, I have just started down the “home espresso barista” rabbit hole.
