dfk41 Uncletits the trouble with Ebay now is they take data protection seriously so unless the auction is yours no one else can see bidders names. I could not work out why Jake wanted his price if they were only £40 new…….LOL. Then I took another look and saw used

Uncletits dfk41 I’ve seen this one for a while on eBay but didn’t know it was connected to the the link Jake put up there a while ago as I swore they were new - my conclusion is it was someone on here who saw my post rather than it just randomly sold
Uncletits Jason1wood please don’t think I’m inconsolable - I just bought a new machine and am looking for a new tamper - I just didn’t think someone completely out of the blue as it had been on eBay for a while would just go and buy it. I’ll just get something another time but I still think whoever jumped on my post and bought it is an arsehole.
Cuprajake @Jason1wood i struggled with the stepdown with the force. The top hat has a lip thwt dits perfectly in the rim of a 58mm basket, to keep the tamp level then you push down and the piston fires, On a 54mm basket the lip doesn’t fit

dfk41 I was quite pleased to buy (I have already forgotten what it was so let us call it a Bravo) a Bravo, use it for two weeks and even more happy to sell it on! I found an old Torr Tamper in the loft. I have absolutely no idea what size it is but it is a perfect fit for the basket on the Lelit. I think the ability to tamp right up to the edge is important. Maybe if the bloke who makes them had called it the Boris and not the Borce they might fly out faster! Good luck with your hunt UT!
