I bought the Moccamaster (the one with the vacuum flask not a hotplate) long before going down the espresso route, but still like to use it every now and then. Now, like many of these pour overs including the Harios etc they come with scoops. But here’s my question, how much ground coffee per cup (cup being really a mug) would any of you recommend?
Do you use the same ratio of grounds to water as when brewing in a Hario or Chemex or Clever Dripper? I ask this because scoops come in different sizes and to me it is just too randome.
So, if any of you here do still occassionally brew a batch through something like a Moccamaster, what is your recipe?
