I have a Barista Pro and have struggled to get long pulls from the machine in the time I’ve had it.
I have upgraded to a timemore sculptor grinder, use good coffee, put 19g in, 45g out, 8 second preinfuse, use wdt but still don’t seem to be able to pull shots in the commonly recommended range.
Shots taste pretty good, anything ground finer gets too acidic, but can’t help but feel I’m missing something.
I couldn’t find anything online about this problem, could it be a poorly machined basket? Or too much pressure from the machine?
