Hi all. Looking for a manual hand grinder for filter coffee at work and travel. Aeropress for now but will also want for a Hario Switch (not yet bought). Doesn't need to be for espresso. Ideally something like: 1zpresso (k models, zp6 etc), Kinu etc. Happy to consider cheaper grinders too, kingrinder k6 etc, just tyring to do as much research as I can. Let me know what you have and what you would like for it. Thanks

Hey, I don’t do filter but for what it’s worth, I decided on a Kinu M47 Phoenix for espresso and couldn’t be happier. Build quality and low retention are incredible. Not sure I’d go back to motorised now. Good luck.

I don’t have one for sale unfortunately but I can highly recommend the Knock Aergrind if you’re just making filter and one cup. I bought one to take on vacations and it’s fantastic. I still use it to make 2 cups but just grind twice due to the capacity.

I had a Commandante C40 which was also great and can grind higher capacity but not quite as portable.

I have a knock feldgrind 38mm and it works really well for me, I use it about 4 times a week to make coffee in office often using the simplest process.

If you’re looking for a used hand grinder with ‘brew’ burrs, you’ll likely be waiting a long time.

There’s only really the Kinu brew burr (after sale conversion to their grinder/Italmill 48mm), or the Zassenhaus style burrs which are more ‘non-espresso’ than offering anything focused on brew.

Fair enough! Assumed some were more suitable than others for filter. Tempted by a zp6 as the premium choice or a kingrinder k6 as the budget choice.

I’ve placed a pre order currently on Amazon for a Kingrinder K6, no stock. So will wait to see what happens, seems a legal issue? I’ll keep an eye on eBay and on here in the mean time though
