Seb6226 This is a photo of my ECM Mechanica Max. The back is removed to show the pump, you don’t have to remove the back. The pump is a rotary pump and is positioned at the rear of the machine. The rotary pumps have their pressure adjusted at the balanced bypass screw ( using flat head screwdriver). The red arrow points to the position of a hole under the machine. This hole allows you to use a screwdriver to adjust the balanced bypass. Turn it clockwise to increase the pressure, anticlockwise to reduce it. Adjust in ¼ turn increments and check against a blind filter.
The machine may have a brass or plastic lock nut to prevent adjustment, if so just loosen it, it should only be finger tight.
P.S. Be careful about water expansion on heating causing a false pressure increase after the initial pressure peak.
