Much as I love my milk based coffee drinks, I can’t help but thinking about the carbon footprint that comes with them.
Every now and then I am using plant-based products to substitute the milk in my cappuccinos and flat whites. I have recently used the mylk by Rebel kitchen, which claim that it tastes like dairy milk, and have to say that it created a nice froth but the taste felt short of what I was expecting.
(I have also used their ‘whole’ alternative, but that one had a very sour/ unpleasant taste, so I binned it straight away..)
Are any suggestions regarding other milks that migh suit espresso better? Woudl anyone recommend the Oatly product?
