my simonelli oscar is about 15 yrs old used once everyday and the coffee [latte] has no flavour anymore. i have cleaned it, gunk off the the upper filter screen etc . I have a good grinder, 20-30 sec pour , etc

thing seems to run fine but do the pumps lose pressure ?

A vibe pump at 15 years old is at the end of it’s life, but can be replaced for £15-18. You don’t need a new machine, but after 15 years, it’s perhaps time for a treat and a step up to a modern HX or dual boiler system.
