Rob666 Cuprajake The end cap is attached solidly. In fact the whole thing was assembled as tightly as you would wish. I’m a bit disappointed that the motor seems to have a relatively short life.

Rob666 Niche very responsive. New motor/gearbox and PCB on the way at reasonable cost. I’ll post again when it’s back in one piece.
DavecUK Rob666 It covers all the basics and gives you a completely new drive train. The pcb is just belt and braces, just in case, although I don’t think it’s the pcb.
dndrich Nice to hear that Niche can be serviced in this way. One of the founding principles of the company appeared to be producing a product that could be repaired rather than tossed away. Excellent.
