I’m selling my Rocket Fausto Coffee grinder, in Chrome. RRP £699. Asking £300. Collection preferred, based in Pimlico/Victoria, London. Can arrange to meet nearby for travel costs and will consider posting at buyers risk/expense.

Bought in 2017 and used for a couple of years before being replaced by a Commondante c40 and a Mazzer grinder. Meticulously cleaned and cared for, works perfectly and burrs are only just seasoned as it has had very light use of around 5-6kg total.

Hi, that’s great ! I’m based in the outskirts of Reading so not far away ! Having previously owned one of these grinders I wouldn’t particularly want to view it as such. A couple of questions - do you still have the original packaging ? I wouldn’t want to drive into that part of London though - you mentioned a nearby meet - could this possibly be over Reading way somewhere ?

I have the original manual and warranty card from BB (it’s expired, so of no use anymore) and I have the original invoice for the grinder and machine somewhere too, I think. I don’t have the original box the grinder was delivered in anymore.

Unfortunately I don’t have a car so I can’t drive out to Reading, I’d be happy to take it on the tube a few stops if essential, but I won’t be able to do that now until 20th November at the earliest, when I’m back home from travels.

If it helps, I’m on the edge of the congestion charge zone so driving from reading would be exempt from that cost.

Hi, again. Thanks for this - driving into London isn’t an option for me at the moment - but would a meet in Paddington Station work for you as I could get the train in from Reading ? However, even if it was I’m not sure this could be arranged before you go away (unless you are free tomorrow….).

My situation is my current grinder, the one I upgraded to from my old Fausto, has got some issues and it’s going to have to go back to BB at some point (I can still use it at the moment - well most of the time !). This means I could be without a grinder for a considerable time as I’m pretty sure it will need to go back to the manufacturer in Italy. So I’m trying to find a good, reasonably priced grinder to use while it’s away - which I may sell on again when I get my main grinder back or possibly keep it as a second grinder this time !. So I may well be able to wait until your return from your travels if neccessary.

Yes sure, Paddington would work. I would struggle to get there tomorrow as I’m working all day, so best wait until I’m back in just over 2 weeks time. The grinder isn’t on eBay so it’s all yours and we can arrange a time/date to meet nearer the time. Thanks Pete.

Thanks again ! I’ll get back to you on your return should I still want the grinder. It appears things are getting worse very quickly with mine now so I may try and source one before then - ideally something small that won’t take up as much space as my current one… Enjoy your holiday !!!
