Am wondering if anyone has their eyes on the new Profitec Move dual boiler.. or already has one

Meant to be a direct competitor to the Rancilio Silvia Pro X (which I already have) and look very similar.

Wondering if there are any advantages in getting it or is it more just nice to have due to the German engineering and quality finishes.

I’ve been looking at that machine as an “upgrade” to the Elizabeth. The machine is not out in the wild yet, so at the moment all we have are videos, reviews and opinions for marketing purposes. I watched one video by the wonderful people at Whole Latte Love and… I’m not convinced it will beat the Elizabeth in terms of value for money… I’m not convinced by the features either. And… it’s bigger than the Elizabeth.

I like the idea of one and have had a look when I have been in Bella Barista. I certainly prefer the look to the Elizabeth and Silvia Pro.

The price is getting close to more tech laden machines (Bianca) but I like the idea of smaller boilers and no e61 group. Maybe next time I’m there I will ask about it and can compare sizes

Hold the phone. It has 2 large holes on the lid of the water reservoir.

Anyone like bugs or dust mixed with your water to make your coffee ?
