It looks very much like an almost copy of the Levercraft Ultra grinder?

I would also suggest posting photos of the interior and construction of this grinder. It’s a lot of money and I am sure people would want to know much more before purchasing. Including other things like, how would payment be made, where is the company based, shipping costs, warranty, spares etc.

The ultra craft now has a lot more competition than it used to have. The only change from rhe original version from what I can see is that the power brick is now placed in a vertical casing that takes up even more counter space than it did. The question is - why would anyone buy it at a price that one can buy the lagom p100 or 01 for whereby both of the latter grinders look much sleeker and better and work much more elegantly without the need for bellows? And take up less counter space? Now if you offered it t say usd$1800…

My grinder uses a servo motor and will not jam beans in lightly roasted espresso. The power supply and the main unit are separate. They are connected by wires. I just placed it like this. I used stainless steel for the lower knife seat to reduce static electricity problems, and I optimized it so that I can switch freely between blind burrs and perforated burrs. I found that lagom01 would jam beans in lightly roasted espresso during use, so I couldn’t make it smaller due to the motor limitation. Of course, I can offer a price of $1,800, but I can’t provide free shipping, and I may not be able to afford the import tax rate. I can offer a price of $1,800 to forum members, and I can provide a two-year warranty for non-human factors. The place of shipment is in China, and it is shipped by international express delivery.

Do you have any info about machining tolerances and burr alignment?

Is an 80mm burr carrier possible?

The processing accuracy is 0.01mm error, and 80mm burrs cannot be used, but separate grinders with 80mm burrs and 120mm burrs will be produced in February.

OK, for 80mm cutter head, I will provide two manufacturers: SSP and Ditting 80mm burr. Ditting may be more expensive

No problem. I already have quite a few 80mm burrs. Please bear in mind the Ditting burr tolerances vary a lot (some will be +/- 20 to 30 microns in diameter) , so the carrier will need to be machined to account for it.

Linglong 98mm grinder - note what’s written about the design:

So…seems like someone other than linglong attempting to “sell” the grinder. The story about linglong not wanting to deliver outside China is true. Linglong isknown, and there are people that have stuff from them (other items) and in contact with them also.

What’s off here is someone has made a forum post masquerading as a grinder maker when theyre not the one that made the grinder.. even if the offer to ship is genuine (China is on 220V), this scenario has the makings of, at worst, a scam, and at best, dealing with some who isn’t trustworthy.

Raja123 There are an explosion of grinder makers in China, specifically following the Original Ultra design, with their own tweaks and improvements to the original Ultra Design. Most of the upgrades are centered around built material (stainless steel to reduce static) and exit chute. Linglong is relatively late in the 98MM ultra grinder copy market and have yet to begin selling their version of the Ultra grinder.

The original poster of this thread is likely selling this version as seen from the unique see-thru exit chute design. What remains unknown is if he is the same seller/manufacturer (ye_cafe)

rytopa Thank you. the door is open for this maker to tell us which of the “known” makers they are. A traceable seller history would be nice.

FWIW I was the first person to order an 80mm FM grinder outside Asia. No issues doing business with a company that has a known history and good reputation.

Raja123 The strange are the other photos posted by the OP, which are clearly different by the Ye_cafe version showed in their instagram post.

I suspect this thread will never saw a reply from the OP, unless he decide to clarify his position.
