@"MuddyOne"#p74269 Hard to say as it depends on the temp range, etc. Suppose it'd be better than nothing, but would likely source something like DC111 when possible for a long term fix.

Have you been flushing frequently with cleaner ?? This will wash out the lubricant leaving meta lo metal abrasion. I doubt you will find anything suitable @ B&Q ,it needs to be suitable for the high temperature in the head. Stick to the 111

@"Elcarajillo"#p74283 Yes this appeared yesterday when I was cleaning with tablet , I have set reminder every 180 shots if I’m not mistaken to flush , been advised to that frequently.

So yeah it’s happening with steam boiler fully off and cooled down .

It’s not happening straight away, one video is after about 25 minutes and there is nothing wrong happening, group head was already red hot as the whole machine was.

Second video is after about one hour , already different , I can’t be the only one puzzled here 🤔

Edit: no crazy amount of steam either on one video.

MuddyOne 😊 - that is only applicable to traditional Heat Exchanger machines. Yours is a dual boiler (one for brew, one for steam). HX machines have incoming water going through the steam boiler (the HX), therefore the temperature of the steam boiler (it only has one) dictates the temperature of the brewing water. As the water is at room temperature (or mains temperature) as it comes through, you solve that with a cooling flush. Dual boilers shouldn’t have that problem as they have independent circuits. 👍
