Hello All,
Today I had to drive to Birmingham centre and when approaching the car park I saw the warning signs for Clean Air Zone charge. When I got home I have checked my Reg plate number and depending where you checked, for example at gov.uk or cleanairzone.co.uk I got different results. At gov.uk I was informed that my car was not chargeable (plug-in hybrid), but on the latter, they asked for £14 per day.
I am not planning to pay anything, but I am wondering how is this legit for a company to charge irrespective of the Council/Gov position.
