Initial thoughts on Kafatek Monolith

Unfortunately, closed forums offer very little. Eveveryone is expected to kneel at the alter of whatever god we are talking about. Kafatek and Londinium are two very good examples of this. What it must be like to have a fragile ego!

I’ve found Denis to be very reasonable on the Kafatek forum, he seems to sit back and let people get on with it.
The times he does intervene is usually justified for example if someone is giving wrong information or advice or if anyone starts to whine about a problem before seeking his advice privately first . I don’t find this unreasonable as he has every right to defend/protect his product.
The mods are very reasonable as well, much more human than another forum over the pond which I really do find unfriendly .
There are some pretty strong characters who will defend Kafatek to the death and seem to have a blind spot if someone does have a genuine problem, it’s very often seems to be blamed on user error🙄.
Overall I’ve taken away some really useful information that I wouldn’t find anywhere else.

Platypus This has been my experience too. I have found the forum generally friendly and welcoming and the discussions are generally balanced.

I found a new low today 😭

I remember the days fondly seeing photos on Facebook where people had ground their coffee but forgot to place the dosing cup many times. I have actually done it once or maybe more but today I found a new low……
