I like to run the group when I’m cleaning it so I just use an angled washing up brush - works perfectly and avoids me getting burnt by the hot water. I’ve seen these Artpresso ones and thought they looked nice. But with how I clean my group I would just end up scolding my hand!

I’ve got one of those Artpresso tools. I got mine as it also has a built in screwdriver in the middle to release the LM shower screen.

It works well, but I’m not sure it does anything other brushes don’t do besides making it slightly easier to scrub.

I find backflushing alone isn’t enough to clear all the oils and crap from around the gasket so use this tool to quickly drop the shower screen and scrub around the edge of the group head.

Not sure if it’s the same but mine also has a mirror in the back to easily see the group without cranking your neck underneath it.

I think they all have that feature. Do you have to replace the middle bit on them from time to time?

You can wash the little pads I think and they’re Velcro’d on so removable. If I remember correctly it comes with a couple of spares. Mine haven’t seemed dirty enough to bother washing them.

Note that the LM shower head is completely smooth so there’s often not really anything to actually dirty the pads on the tool. It might be slightly more susceptible to getting dirty/worn on an E61 type. Probably not much though.

HarveyMushman me too - i use this each time I do my housekeeping, Also never yet seen the need to change the little pad - screwdriver in the mirror also very handy for removing the screen.

So it’s arrived. Looks decent but the mirror is all scratched. Not sure I’m happy with it for £30. If I was in a shop, I’d never have picked this one up.

Did you take off the plastic cover ? Pretty sure mine had one on the Glass and at the time I thought it was a very dull look
