  • Sigma Coffee Stocking Highly Rated Coffees

Not sure if it’s been mentioned here, but Sigma Coffee is stocking many ‘highly rated’ roasters from around the world. Currently, they stock Manhattan, Dak, Onyx, Nomad, April, Native and Hydrangea and are looking to stock others soon such as Sey. I’ve tried Manhattan, Dak and April in the past and have been impressed by them all. Just to say this should lower the shipping cost if you’re wanting to try some of the world highest rated green coffee sourcers and roasters (of course this depends on what you like!). I’ve previously ordered a ZP6 grinder from Sigma with no issues at all. There’s also an area to suggest other roasters you’d like them to stock.

I had onyx as part of my dog and hat wasnt a fan, and when i had green moldy looking beans there answer was to get back onto dog and hat, so out of principle ill never use them again

Well that seems like you have a valid reason to avoid them haha

Cuprajake I had deflating experiences (though no obvious signs of mould) with Onyx, Sey & other overseas roasters, supplied via UK roasters/resellers/subs. I’d much rather deal with roasters directly.

Agree tbh, ive had amoc and another dutch roaster via dog and hat and they all tasted under roasted and hay like

If tim w hadn’t put up his postage id still buy from him

I agree @Cuprajake, I have a subscription with Tim but only because I split four bags with one of my mates who lives locally. It makes shipping a bit less painful.

Thanks for sharing, I was using dog and hat but they recently upped prices
