dfk41 I am not going to name the roaster but I opened a new bag of coffee this morning and to my surprise I found this in amongst the beans! It looks like a piece of bone. I only hope it found its way in during the drying process and not that the roaster is missing part of his pinky!

giampiero Yes can happen, stone, wood or other foreign objects. Once i found a Godzilla bean, and few years ago a friend of mine he found a whole eyeglass lens, probably the most strange object ever found.
dfk41 The roaster responded very quickly. Obviously they were apologetic and have stuck a credit note on my account for the bag, which is very kind of them. I am going to post it down to them tomorrow, just for their reference!
