Just seen this on Reddit. Not much info about it yet and the link to preorder doesn’t work not sure if the article has been released too early.
Anyone heard or read anything else about it?

This article was early, the press release is today at 6:15pm UK time. There were some patent applications from fellow but no concrete info so far

If (and it’s a huge if!) that delivers everything it promises to for $1200 it’s a complete game changer when you compare it to everything else anywhere near the price point. Great looking machine too, probably one of the nicest machine designs I’ve seen.
90 second warmup time?! The boiler tech looks very clever.
Fellow’s design team are absolutely top class. All of their products look fantastic and they’re incredibly good at making premium looking products at affordable prices. There’s a refinement in the designs that you don’t often see, especially at this end of the market.
I’m a huge fan of their Ode grinder and some colleagues have a few of their other products and are equally impressed.
La Marzocco Linea Mini - Mazzer Philos
I like the look of it from the video although the devil is always in the detail. “High quality food grade plastic” is listed in materials which is a little off-putting but I suppose that depends where they use it and I can’t decide whether the round menu screen would become annoying like some people have pointed out on the Aiden. I think the overall look of it is pretty smart though.
It’s probably going to be a lot of plastic given the price. I guess the alternative is just yet another stainless steel box.
I think if it’s done well, I’d take a solid plastic shell over some of the quality of metalwork and tinfoil panels I’ve seen on some machines…

EddieMoonshine nice find! This looks great and his the right spot in the market. Seems to be a few companies out there now making budget friendly Decent style machines, finally!
I’m obviously not speaking about any specs or performances, but at first glance it catch my eyes, i’m surprised because i don’t like the Decent shape but probably the missed huge display give to the machine a more pleasurable appearance.
HarveyMushman 1200$?? I don’t think so, too good to be true but I imagine with taxes and everything at least in the UE would be around 2000€.
It certainly is interesting as a concept. The price obviously will have delivery to the UK, VAT and import duties but so what? Plenty of us buy things from the US (or did!). My Kafatek was $168 delivery and £276 approximately in duties on top of the retail price of$ 2400 so hardly earth shattering. Whilst it does not appeal to me I am sure it will appeal to many others
Fellow have a pretty strong retail network internationally through resellers so the price shouldn’t be as high as the US price plus taxes etc.
There’s quite a bit of info on HB where one of the designers is answering questions.
The shell is plastic as expected but unsurprising at this price.
They’ve certainly included a lot of interesting features, some great innovation.
Dare I say it looks like pretty strong competition for the Decent if they do pull it all off at this price point!
It’s not something I’d buy as a primary machine but if it comes in at £12-1500 then maybe I’d get one as a second machine to mess around with.

A quick look at RRP for the Aiden filter brew machine shows that we typically pay the same in GBP as they do in USD (£365 vs $365 in Oregon - a state with no sales tax), so a 33% increase in real terms.
Not a dig at Fellow/their practices, they do amazing seasonal deals, that I have certainly benefitted from.
Quite surprised at this given that until now Fellow have been primarily focussed on pour over. Good to have more espresso machines and technology even if it’s not going to be for everyone.
Should be popular given it’s approx ⅓ the price of a Decent but with much of the same promised functionality. If they can ensure it’s fully customisable and can go some way to emulate the Decent community they should be on to something. Judging by what they’ve promised with the Aiden dropper I’d guess that’s what they’re aiming for.
