ACS Vesuvius Fault Diagnosis

Hi Guys, fist time on this forum!

I’m wondering if I could ask for some expert help & guidance.

The pump on my Versuvius has started malfunctioning and making an unusual sound. Its not providing pressure. I’ve taken a video to hopefully aid diagnose the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

It was built in October 2021. I ordered directly through Paolo over on coffee forums.

That’s probably too late for the pump magnet issues which worked their way out of the system many years before then. The pump also made 9 bars which again don’t indicate magnet issues. I’m wondering if there is a problem with the Cruzet drive unit inside the pump?

I would recommend you send a link to that video to Maria at ACS.

Ah ok yes I do remember there was a problem with those earlier units. Stupidly I was looking at the opposite corner display for the bar reading, so yes it is ramping up. I’ll send her a message, do you happen to have her email address?

Thanks I’ve sent them a message.
With regards to the possible fault.. if it is the Cruzet drive unit or another pump related part are these generally difficult & expensive things to fix?
