Tagging @DavecUK here, as my research shows that he’s the master of all things Lelit Bianca.
TL;DR, my Lelit Bianca sometimes gives inconsistent water debit.
I think it started happening after I’d played around with electronic low flow start, which I otherwise hadn’t used in a while. Even upon re-assemply the problem persisted.
As per Dave’s recommendation, I cleaned the needle valve assembly and changed the o-rings to the recommended FKM o-rings. I also applied Molykote on dry surfaces. Open re-assemply, everything seemed fine, and I calibrated the paddle. Closed it was almost no-flow, wide open around 55ml/10sec, så around 165 ml/30sec water debit.
I’ve been using it a few days, and then wanted to experiment with low flow again. The first show I ran this morning was fine. The second never picked up pressure, it was like the pump never really engaged past the low-flow start of 5 seconds. Only when I slightly touched the paddle did the pressure seem to kick in.
I then disabled low-flow and did another shot, but found that the pressure still seemed to build very slow. I measured the water debit at paddle full open, and found that I now get between 30-40ml/10seconds, rather than the 55ml/10seconds that I did a few days ago.
I’m unsure whether its an electronic glitch, a mechanical problem og something else entirely.
I’ve had the machine since august 2024, and I use filtered water. I haven’t descaled, but as said I have just cleaned the needle valve and rinsed my shower screen while at it.
Any suggestions?
